The junior firefighters of Albrightsville Volunteer Fire Company are making it their mission to give sick children in the Lehigh Valley Hospital a great holiday.

The young men and women of the fire company are collecting toys, games and art supplies for children of all ages."The junior firefighters are trying to make it a great season for these kids," said Gene Getz of the fire company. "Without the help of good people it will not be possible for this to happen."Donations will be accepted until Dec. 12 and can brought to the fire house on Mondays between 6:30 and 9 p.m. and on Saturdays between 4:30 and 10 p.m. as well as during breakfast on Dec. 6.All items must be new and unwrapped. Any handmade dolls, pillows or blankets must be freshly laundered.For a complete list of items, contact Christian Petras at 718 877-4188 after 3 p.m. weekdays.There are many items on the list, but board games are especially needed.
