Mark your calendars and join us in a meal before we worship together on three Wednesdays in Advent: Dec. 2, 9 and 16. Soup, bread and salad, and a beverage will be provided for the meal before we prepare our hearts and minds for worship. Soup supper begins at 6 p.m. and worship follows at 7 p.m.All For One Thanksgiving Worship Service will be hosted by Zion Lutheran Church, Packerton (34 Pine St.) for the Lehighton Area Lutheran churches at 7 p.m. Nov. 25 and will include Holy Communion. Refreshments and fellowship will follow. A combined choir will provide the anthem. Anyone interested can sing (being on the choir is not a requirement). Pastor Allison and Colleen will have copies of the music if you would like to see it beforehand. The choir will assemble by 6:15 p.m. to practice before the service. Please join us as we give thanks for all God's abundant blessings and pray for those in need.Trinity happeningsSunday worship services with Holy Communion at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., are at 8:30 and 11 a.m. Gluten-free wafers are available for those with allergies. Music for the 8:30 worship service will be provided by the Trinity Praise Band. Rev. Nancy Moore presides.Sunday school classes will not meet due to the annual meeting of the congregation at 9:45 a.m. All voting members are encouraged to attend. Sunday school classes resume next week.For those desiring to join the congregation, Moore will meet with prospective new members for instruction and information at 1 p.m. Nov. 22. For those desiring a baptismal date, Moore will meet with parents for an instructional session by appointment at 1 p.m. Nov. 29.
