Two defendants in pending criminal cases entered guilty pleas in Carbon County court on Monday.

Judge Joseph J. Matika accepted pleas from the following:Malcolm Louis McQueen, 25, of Reeders, pleaded to one count of receiving stolen property. He admitted his part in the theft of a snowboard at the Blue Mountain Ski Area in Lower Towamensing Township on March 15.Matika placed him on probation for a year and ordered he make restitution of $187.80, which is his half share as there is a co-defendant in the case. The term runs concurrent with a probation period he is serving in Monroe County for drunken driving, which runs through April 2016.Chad Michael Hartranft, 39, of Lehighton, pleaded to a summary offense of disorderly conduct. In exchange for the plea the district attorney's office dropped a drunken driving charge. Hartranft was arrested on July 3 at First and Alum streets in Lehighton by state police at Lehighton.Matika imposed a fine of $150.Each defendant must pay court costs of $1,000. McQueen also must pay a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation.
