TOBYHANNA (AP) An eastern Pennsylvania woman has been ordered to stand trial on charges of having killed the elderly man for whom she was caring.

The Pocono Record reports that a district judge found sufficient evidence Tuesday to send the case against 56-year-old Judith Marc of Tobyhanna to trial in Monroe County Court.Police said 92-year-old William Collins was found dead in his wheelchair Dec. 27 in Marc's home. They said he had suffered a broken neck and head trauma.Court documents said Marc was the lone beneficiary of the victim's estate. Authorities allege she had tried to take out a $500,000 life insurance policy on him a few months earlier.Defense attorneys argue that there is no evidence that Marc caused the man's death.
