Two students at Jim Thorpe High School raised funds for the Ronald McDonald House as their senior project, staging a car wash at McDonald's Restaurant in Nesquehoning and a bake sale at Jim Thorpe Market. Todd Sheckler, general manager of McDonald'sin Nesquehoning, accepts a check totaling $250 from Emily Allen and Stephanie Morris, both seniors. Allen is the daughter of Rick and Joyce Allen. Morris is the daughter of Tracy and Tammy Morris. Sheckler said he is proud of the efforts by the students because he feels strongly about the good that the Ronald McDonald House does.
