The suit states Minzola sustained "serious and catastrophic" injuries which are detailed in the suit.The suit alleges the defendants parked a vehicle at the intersection of Market and Walnut streets in such a manner and in such close proximity to the corner that it obstructed the view of the driver who pulled in front of the plaintiff.Negligence is alleged against the defendants and sought are damages in excess of $50,000 plus interest, costs and fees.Bill owedR.F. Sought is $1,264.54.Prothonotary's reportA total of 314 cases were started in March in the office of Carbon County Prothonotary Joann M. Behrens, according to a monthly statistical report released by the officeholder. The office staff also received and processed 115 applications for U.S. passports.Behrens' financial report shows $34,207.50 was generated last month as follows: prothonotary's fees, $29,551.28; interest income, $4.57; custody fee; $250; data processing fees, $4,351.65; PFA surcharge, courts, $25; and PFA surcharge, Sheriff; $25.The prothonotary also remitted $900 Remote Access Fees to the county; $5,188.70 to the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue, representing state fees collected locally; and $83.20 to the Administrative Offices of the Pennsylvania Courts, this being surcharges on new custody cases in accordance with Act 119 of 1996. Another $1,162.37 was deposited in the Prothonotary's Automation Fund for future use in automating the office.
