More snow, warmer temperatures on the way

The bad news is that we're due for another weekend nuisance snow storm with the dreaded wintry mix of precipitation. the good news is that temperatures will climb above freezing in the coming week.

The National Weather Service expects increasing clouds overnight, with temperatures dropping to six degrees from a high today of 25 degrees.Sunday starts out with a chance of snow before 3 p.m., then snow, freezing rain, and sleet are likely. It will be cloudy, with a high near 30 degrees. The snow and ice are expected to accumulate to less than one inch.On Sunday night, expect snow, freezing rain, and sleet before 1 a.m., then snow and sleet between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m., then snow after 4 a.m., totaling from one to three inches. Temperatures will hover around 26 degrees.On Monday, there's a 30 percent chance of snow showers before 12 p.m. It's expected to be partly sunny, with a high near 37 degrees. Monday night's temperature is expected to be around 12 degrees and partly cloudy.But on Tuesday, there's a 60 percent chance of snow, freezing rain, and sleet before 2 p.m., then freezing rain is likely between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m., changing to rain after 3 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 35 degrees.Tuesday night's temperatures will be around 32, with rain or freezing rain likely.Wednesday repeats the pattern, with rain or freezing rain likely, but with a temperatures expected to hit a balmy 50 degrees.Wednesday night brings another chance of rain and snow, with temperatures at about 28 degrees.There's another chance of rain or snow on Thursday, with a high near 36 degrees.
