More drug arrests by Pocono Mountain police

Several drug charges have been made as the result of ongoing investigations by Pocono Mountain Regional police.

Search warrantPolice reported the arrest of Walter Matson, 36, and Kellie Guinta, 40, both of Tobyhanna, and Claire White, 24, of Stroudsburg, following an execution of a search warrant on Feb. 5 at 117 St. Regis Walk in the Pocono Farms community in Tobyhanna, Coolbaugh Township.Charges against the three include possession with intent to deliver, conspiracy, criminal use of a communication device, endangering the welfare of children, all felonies, and possessing instruments of crime, possession and possession of paraphernalia.Police executed the warrant and found in the home was Matson and Guinta, his girlfriend, and their 8-month-old child. Police had received complaints regarding drug sales at the residence months before the arrests.A search of the home revealed paraphernalia consistent with individuals smoking bath salts and using narcotics. There were hundreds of "crack-pipe like" smoking devices found throughout the home in garbage bags, drawers and lying about in open areas. Bags of heroin were found. Also found was chunky crystalline substances consistent with the manufacture of versions of bath salts and other designer drugs.Both Matson and Guinta were placed in the county prison in lieu of bail. The child was placed in the custody of the county children and youth office.Police said White was identified as a frequent visitor to the home. Checks revealed she was wanted by the county court and Stroud police on outstanding warrants. She was also placed in the county prison.More arrestsPolice said Karleck Sutton, 38, Alexis Oikelome, 39, and Mary Price, 43, all of Tobyhanna, are facing drug counts as the result of an ongoing investigation and the execution of a search warrants at 7257 Long Pine Drive in Tobyhanna, and Carriage Square parking lot in Coolbaugh Township.Sutton and Oikelome have been charged with possession with intent to deliver, conspiracy, criminal use of a communication device, persons not to possess firearms, receiving stolen property, all felonies, and possessing instruments of crime, possession, and possession of paraphernalia, all misdemeanor. Oikelome was also arrested as a fugitive from justice for crimes in Florida.Price was charged with possession with intent to deliver, endangering the welfare of children, both felonies, and tampering with evidence, possession, and possession of paraphernalia.On Feb. 6 while the home was under surveillance a vehicle was observed leaving the area. A traffic stop was made and Price was the driver with Sutton a passenger. There was a 5-year-old child belonging to Price in the vehicle.During the course of the investigation officers learned Price had possessed two packages of marijuana and that when stopped she gave the marijuana to the child and told him to put it in his pockets and don't tell police.Police located the marijuana on the child and Price was arrested.Later police observed another vehicle at the home, driven by a black male identified as Oikelome. He was previously identified as a fugitive from justice in Florida where he was wanted on felony charges. The traffic stop was made and Oikelome was arrested.Through the course of the ongoing investigation Sutton was identified as a drug dealer involved with marijuana, cocaine and heroin. A search of the home revealed significant evidence of illegal drug trafficking as well as illegal firearm possession.High grade marijuana, about 8 ounces, packaged in a large vacuum sealed bag, sandwich bags, etc., was found. Also found was a 12 gauge shotgun and 9 mm ammunition and a small holster.Sutton, Oikelome and Price were all committed to the county prison in lieu of bail. The child was turned over to Children and Youth.
