Pocono Mountain Regional Police have charged a 17-year-old boy with reckless endangerment after he fired an air rifle at cars in the Indian Mountain Lake development, Tunhannock Township.

Police did not identify the boy, who is from Albrightsville, because of his age.

According to a report issued Saturday, the boy fired the gun from a bedroom window at 1 p.m. Nov. 9, striking the windshields of both a parked and moving car, causing a total of $675 in damage.

He was also charged with possessing an instrument of crime, propulsion of missiles into an occupied vehicle, sale and use of an air rifle, and criminal mischief.
