Mauch Chunk Trust announces changes

Mauch Church Trust announces the following moves within the organization:

• A. Michael Prock, well-known in the community as the branch manager for both the Hometown and West Penn branch offices of the Mauch Chunk Trust Company, has recently accepted the position of business banker within the organization.Prock joined MCT in 2007 and brought with him more than 20 years of banking experience.In his new role, Prock is responsible for business development and client relationship management in the greater Tamaqua and Hometown areas."I'm pleased to have been offered this opportunity," Prock said. "I look forward to collaborating with clients on custom financial solutions for their business as well as educating new clients on the reasons why they should come on board with MCT."Before working at Mauch Chunk Trust Company, he was employed as a branch manager by First National Bank in Fleetwood and M&T Bank (formerly Pennsylvania National Bank).Prock holds an associate degree in business administration-accounting.He is also a graduate of the Central Atlantic Advanced School of Banking, Bucknell University and the Central Atlantic School of Banking, Dickinson College.• Todd Smolinsky recently joined Mauch Chunk Trust Company in the position of business banker and brings with him 18 years of retail banking and sales management experience.In his new role, Todd is responsible for business development and client relationship management in the greater Lehighton, Palmerton and Albrightsville areas."I'm pleased to join the team at MCT," Smolinsky said. "I look forward to meeting and working with current business clients of Mauch Chunk Trust Company in addition to creating new business relationships."Before joining MCT, Smolinsky was a vice president, branch manager for Citizens Bank in West Hazleton and Mountaintop.He is a graduate of Bishop Hafey High School and Alvernia University, with a bachelor of science in business management and a bachelor of science in marketing. Smolinsky lives in Freeland with his wife Nicole and two children; Aliyah and Lucas.• Lisa Perry recently accepted a promotion at Mauch Chunk Trust Company from assistant branch manager of the main office in Jim Thorpe into the position of business banker.In her new role, Lisa is responsible for business development and client relationship management in the greater Jim Thorpe and Nesquehoning areas."I'm excited by the challenge of my new role at MCT," Perry said. "I look forward to meeting new business clients in and around Carbon County and explaining to them the benefits of banking, borrowing and investing at Mauch Chunk Trust Company."Perry has more than 13 years of banking experience, eight of which are with MCT. She is very involved in the local community through Carbon Chamber and Economic Development programs such as the Carbon Young Professionals and Business/Education Partnership. Additionally, Perry is dedicated to the Lehighton Downtown Initiative and will begin her four-year term on the Lehighton Borough Council in January 2016. She is a graduate of Lehighton Area High School and has completed coursework at Lehigh Carbon Community College. Lisa resides in Lehighton with her husband Anthony and two children; Dallas and Damian.Mauch Chunk Trust Company is an independent community bank with its main office located at 1111 North St., Jim Thorpe, Carbon County. Mauch Chunk Trust operates seven banking offices, including five in Carbon County and two in Schuylkill County.
