Schuylkill personnel moves

Schuylkill County commissioners on Wednesday approved several personnel actions.

Janet Dagon of Pottsville resigned from her job as full-time assistant director of nursing at the county nursing home at Rest Haven. The job paid $58,340 a year.Other Rest haven personnel moves:Charlene Esler of St. Clair resigned from her job as a storeroom clerk.Commissioners appointed Denise Hubler, Port Carbon, and Cherianne McCuller, Pottsville, as full-time nursing assistants.Veronica McCuller, Girardville, was transferred from part-time to full-time nursing assistant, and Amanda Wallace was appointed to a part-time nursing assistant job. All will be paid $11.72 an hour.Commissioners also accepted the retirement of full-time nursing assistant Kathryn Romberger, Pottsville, and terminated full-time nursing assistant Jessica Wolfe, also of Pottsville.In other moves, commissioners approved the Children and Youth Services agency promotions of Jessica Kromer, Tamaqua, and Stephanie Rice, Orwigsburg, from caseworker 1 to caseworker 2. Each will earn $18.04 an hour.Lora Cherrybon of Minersville resigned from her $13.54-an-hour job as a clerk at the agency.Debra McDonald, Palo Alto, was transferred from a part-time Clerk 1 in the coroner's office to Clerk Typist 1 in the Tax Claim Bureau. She'll be paid $13.30 an hour.Commissioners also appointed Michael Bowman of McAdoo; Timothy Demko of Frackville; Cody Herndon of Port Carbon; Matthew Mlynek of Mahanoy City; and Marcia Tamburelli of Orwigsburg as telecommunications trainees at the county 911 center. They'll each earn $11.97 an hour.In other personnel moves, Jack Quirk of Pottsville was appointed a judicial attendant at $9.66 an hour; David Russell of Pine Grove resigned from his $9.66-an-hour job as judicial attendant.
