The name of a suspect in the murder of a Tamaqua woman has been published by a North Carolina newspaper.

The Kinston Free Press reported on its website that the Kinston police pulled over Angela (Serfass) Steigerwalt’s 2010 silver Buick LaCrosse on a report that it was stolen.The car was driven by Anthony Darrell Heath, 24, of Allentown and he has been linked to the Steigerwalt’s death.The Kinston Department of Public Safety was contacted by On-Star about the car that was entering Kinston on U.S. 258 North at 11:06 a.m. Sunday, according to the Free Press.After a 5-minute stand-off with officers, the suspect was taken into custody without incident.Steigerwalt’s body was  discovered in shrubbery atop the Flagstaff Mountain Saturday morning.Steigerwalt, 35, a lifelong resident of Tamaqua,  reportedly was last seen by her family Friday night when she left for work at Kraft Foods in Fogelsville.Her body had been tossed down a steep, 15- to 20-foot embankment into laurel bushes.A discarded piece of a utility pole stopped the body from falling farther down the embankment.Her uncle, TIMES NEWS Managing Editor-Features Donald Serfass, said, police have been working on the case around the clock.On behalf of his family, Donald Serfass issued the following statement last night:"The Serfass and Steigerwalt families thank you for your thoughtfulness and caring. A beautiful, loving, young woman has been taken from us at the prime of her life and we're struggling for answers."We have complete faith in the Pennsylvania State Police who are leaving no stone unturned to get to the bottom of this tragedy. Please know that your support is a great comfort and means more than words can express."The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office and N.C. Highway Patrol assisted in taking Heath into custody at Lenoir County Jail where he remains with no bond.
