At an organizational meeting of the new Coaldale Hospital board of trustees held last night, Anthony (Tony) Wargo of Coaldale was elected chairman of the board. This was the first meeting of the new eight-man board which was appointed by Governor William Scranton. Wargo is an active Republican worker and replaces John Eagan of Palo Alto during the Leader and Lawrence administrations.

Other officers elected were Thomas J. Whildin, former burgess of Lansford, vice chairman and Mrs. Philomena Fauzio of Nesquehoning, active Civic worker in the community, secretary-treasurer.
