Spring cleanup

Towamensing Township will be holding a spring cleanup and recycling event April 13-14, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the township municipal building, 120 Stable Road, Lehighton.The event is open to township residents only. Residents are asked to bring large items, furniture, mattresses, box springs, appliances, tires, computers, televisions, etc. There is a charge for items with freon and for tires. Advanced Green Solutions will handle all the covered devices and might charge a small fee.
