Four area residents were among 22 who entered guilty pleas in Schuylkill County court and were sentenced by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin.

Benjamin Andrew Kuzo, 21, of 4 Dogwood Lane, Lake Hauto Development, Rush Township, on charges of theft of a credit card from the motor vehicle of Elbert Stegmier, Tamaqua, was given credit for serving 119 days in the county prison and released on parole for 23 months. He was ordered to pay $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account (CJEA) fund, and make restitution of $1,521 to the victim.On a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) of drugs, was given a sentence of 72 hours to six months to run concurrent with the theft charge, however, he must pay a fine of $1,000, pay $100 to Substance Abuse Education (SAE) fund, $50 to CJEA fund, $50 to Catastrophe fund, $460 to Schuylkill Medical Center (SMC), attend alcohol highway safe driving school, receive outpatient counseling, perform 10 hours community service, and his driver's license was suspended for 12 months.On a charge of possession of a controlled substance was placed on probation to run concurrent with the other sentences.
