State police at Fogelsville conducted a speed enforcement detail along Interstate 78 in Allentown, on Monday, Jan. 14, starting about 10:30 a.m. Utilized in the detail was a fixed wing aircraft to observe and clock vehicles.

As a result a total of 11 vehicles were clocked resulting in 11 traffic citations for speeding.Additionally one citation was issued for careless driving, one for restraint systems, and two warnings issued for equipment violations.The vehicle with the highest speed was 91.99 miles-per-hour.Troopers said such enforcement will continue in an effort to target aggressive drivers and reduce accidents.
