Lehighton arrests

Lehighton police reported on the following arrests made by officers.

Susan L. Estason, 54, of 119 W. Fell St., Summit Hill, has been cited for bad check. She is charged with issuing a check for $131 to the Lehighton Animal Clinic, on Nov. 23, 2012. The check was returned for insufficient funds.

Brittany Leidy, 23, of 106 Gypsy Hill Gardens, Lehighton, and a 17-year-old female from Lehighton, were both cited fo harassment following an altercation that became physical. The incident occurred on Sunday, May 5, just after midnight at the Gypsy Hill Gardens, police said.

Eric Binyon, 44, of 25 Running Bear Lane, Lehighton, was charged with institutional vandalism for damaging the grounds owned by the Lehighton Area School District. On Feb. 27 about 5:40 p.m. Binyon's vehicle was observed being driven off of the high school parking lot onto practice fields, spinning around causing damage to the fields.

Cindy Gonzalez, 20, of 629 Cypress St., Lehighton, was cited on Friday, May 3, for violation of borough ordinance dealing with signs. The ordinance states that "it shall be unlawful for any person to post or hang upon any utility pole, light post, sign or sign post" owned by the borough or any other public utility any sign, banner, poster, etc.
