The Heart

A heart was made to last,

And never ever break.

It remembers the past,

And learns from mistakes.

It can see true love,

And feel true romance.

It can see everything,

That the eyes can't.

It feels the best things,

The little things unseen.

When we close our eyes,

To kiss, pray, and dream.

Born with one heart,

Is what every human has.

So in life we can look,

For our other halves.

Hearts don't learn love,

The definition is unclear.

But when we find the one,

Those words appear.

A human was born,

And with it one heart came.

To search for the other,

To find its soulmate.

A heart was built to last,

And never ever break.

Now I met you,

That was no mistake.

I love you.
