Pocono Mountain Harley-Davidson will join NorthBound & Co. and Famous Tattoo Works on Saturday for Flash Forward: Ink to Impact, an annual tattoo fundraiser bringing together the motorcycle community, local artists and recovery advocates for a day centered on connection, recovery and giving back.

Hosted at Pocono Mountain Harley-Davidson, 110 Hill Motor Lodge Road in Tannersville, Flash Forward combines motorcycles, tattoo culture and community fundraising to support NorthBound & Co. and its mission of providing accessible recovery resources to individuals and families throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania.

The day begins before the main event with Throttle Without the Bottle, a free sober motorcycle ride through the Pocono Mountains. Safety check-in begins at 8:45 a.m., with kickstands up at 9 a.m. Donations to NorthBound & Co. are encouraged.

Flash tattooing begins at 10 a.m., followed by a mechanical bull tournament from noon to 4 p.m. The event will also feature food, entertainment, raffles and opportunities for attendees to directly support NorthBound & Co.

“Motorcycles have always had an incredible way of bringing people from all walks of life together, and Flash Forward takes that sense of community and turns it into something even bigger,” said Falon Knipe, regional marketing manager for Pocono Mountain Harley-Davidson. “We’re proud to open our doors to NorthBound & Co. and Famous Tattoo Works and provide a space where people can come together, have a great time and support recovery in our community. Whether someone comes for the ride, a tattoo, the mechanical bull or simply to show their support, every person who walks through the door that day is helping make an impact.”

Funds raised through Flash Forward directly support NorthBound & Co.’s free programs and practical assistance for individuals and families throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. Services include peer-based recovery support, Certified Recovery Specialist services, case management, workforce assistance, transportation support, community resource navigation, wellness programming and outreach.

NorthBound & Co. does not charge clients for the support they receive, making fundraising events and community partnerships an important part of keeping those resources accessible.

“Flash Forward represents what recovery can look like when an entire community chooses to show up,” said Bailey Sells of NorthBound & Co. “Recovery is about so much more than one person’s journey. It’s about connection, opportunity and knowing there are people in your corner. Every tattoo, every rider, every donation and every person who attends helps us continue providing our services at no cost to the people and families who need them. We want this event to celebrate recovery, challenge the stigma surrounding it and remind people that recovery is possible.”

Flash Forward also provides an opportunity to bring conversations about recovery into a setting that may reach individuals who would not otherwise encounter traditional recovery resources.

By combining tattoo culture, the motorcycle community and local partnerships, organizers hope the event creates an approachable environment where people can support the cause, connect with others and learn more about the resources available in their community.
