Monroe driver facing DUI count

A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 1:11 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, along SR209 in Polk Township.

State police at Lehighton said Anthony Nava, 30, of Kunkletown, was stopped for a traffic violation and found to be under the influence. He was placed under arrest for DUI. Troopers said the charges are pending.
