ANDREW LEIBENGUTH/TIMES NEWS This letter was given by Stephen Brish, age 8, to Santa during Tamaqua's Community Ethnic Christmas Party held Saturday at the Tamaqua Community Center. It reads: "Dear Santa Claus: I would like to cut to the chase and tell you my best friend Tyler is sick and has to go and have surgery and get a new heart. So the thing I want most is for him to have a good heart. If you feel the need to give me presents, just go ahead, I do not care, just give Tyler a good heart. Love Stephen." His friend Tyler Abbott is age 9.
