Lehighton Area Lioness Lions held installation of officers for the 2012-2013 year at Carbon Career and Technical Institute, Jim Thorpe.
Installation of officers was performed by Robert Neumoyer, past district governor. Those installed are, Lisa Whitehead, president; Dale Reeder, first vice president; Alicia Shutack-Silliman, second vice president; Linda Benner, corresponding secretary; Sue Anthony, recording secretary; Gerry Andrews, co-treasurer; Pamela Gothard, co-treasurer; Pat Whitehead, tail twister; Steven Anthony, lion tamer; Sandra Whiteman, membership chairman; Brenda Green, chaplain; Bob Silliman, greeter; and directors, two years, Magdalen Armbruster, Cleo Balliet and Elizabeth "Betty" Wagner; and one year, Brenda Green, Kay Teets and Pearl Zimmerman.The club holds two major events each year as a service project to provide holiday memories for children, Breakfast with Santa and a Bunny Lunch. The club also supports eye glasses for the needy, collects eyeglasses to recycle, and supports a local rabies clinic and spay and neutering program, and the cat and dog shelters.
