Rachel Garrison, 17-year-old daughter of Ted and Renee Garrison has graduated from the U.S. Marine boot camp in Parris Island S.C..

She finished her high school studies in January to attend boot camp. While there she attained her marksmanship medal and an award for physical fitness well above the Marine Corps. minimum.She will be sent to the Marine Combat Training School in North Carolina for 29 days and then to parachute rigging and jump school after her well deserved 10 day leave.She intends to attend college while enlisted and have a bachelors degree by the time her first four years is complete.
