FSA meeting slated for Feb. 6

The United States Department of Agriculture's Farm Service Agency will hold a public meeting in Carbon County on Monday, Feb. 6, at 2 p.m., at the Big Creek Grange Hall 1559, located at 275 Grange Road, Lehighton. The purpose of the meeting is about the possible consolidation of the Carbon and Monroe FSA county office.

Bill Wehry, state executive director for the Pennsylvania FSA, and members of his management team will be present at the meeting.This meeting will be the only meeting held to take public comment on the USDA's proposed office consolidation plan in which the Carbon and Monroe FSA office is being considered for consolidation.
