Students of the Month are named at OLOAA

Nine students from Our Lady of the Angels Academy, Lansford, were recently named "Students of the month" for December. They were selected because they exhibited the virtue of respect.

The following are quotes from each student.Dylan Newton (kindergarten): "I am respectful to others."Alfred Collevechio III (first grade): "I respect all my classmates and teacher. I always try to be kind to others."Matthew Rehrig (second grade): "I listen to my teacher and show respect to my classmates."Corey Rehnert (third grade): "I try to listen and obey my teacher. I am kind to my classmates and don't make fun of people."Isaac Faust (fourth grade): "I show respect by listening to my teacher and not talking back to her. I do what I am told to do."Zinnia Ruch (fifth grade): "I show respect to my teacher and all my classmates. I never call out or interrupt anybody. I am always patient and considerate of other people's feelings."Isabella Blasko (sixth grade): "I listen to everyone who is in charge of me. I respect everything they tell me."Amarynth Ruch (seventh grade): "I am respectful towards my teachers and fellow students. I listen to what my teachers tell me and never interrupt them. I am also very kind to animals and other living creatures."Courtney McCall (eighth grade): "I try to be nice and kind to everyone. I respond to everyone who speaks to me. I do not interrupt when someone is speaking and I show concern for everyone."
