The next planning committee meeting for the Jim Thorpe 1955-1965 reunion will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10 at the Jim Thorpe Administration Building, Center Avenue.Touchdown Club meetingThe Jim Thorpe Touchdown Club will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, in the commons area of the high school.This is an organizational meeting and they hope as many relatives and friends as possible can make it. The group will be organizing committees for the 2012 season. There is lots to do to ensure a successful season.The Touchdown Club is the booster club for the junior high through high school football teams. It is a fundraising organization and everything members do is to support the teams and the coaches. The programs are only as strong as the parents and friends who are willing to volunteer their time or help in other ways.Visit
