Nesquehoning deaths ruled murder, suicide
Authorities confirmed that the shooting deaths of a man and woman over the weekend were a murder-suicide.
State police in Lehighton said the bodies of 33-year-old Christopher Lewis and 31-year-old Dana Lewis were found in the Nesquehoning residence on Saturday morning.
Coroner Bruce Nalesnik said that autopsies Monday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, confirmed that the man shot the woman multiple times and then turned the weapon on himself.
Friends told reporters that the two were divorcing.
Investigators said two of the couple's four children discovered their bodies.
