Lansford man facing charges
A Lansford man is facing charges of indecent exposure and open lewdness following an incident in Jim Thorpe.
Borough police said on Saturday, Feb. 11, about 2:29 p.m. two juvenile females reported a man in a vehicle had exposed himself to them while they were walking along SR209 near the inner borough bridge.
The females said they would be able to identify the suspect if they saw him again.
Through a further investigation, police were informed by Lansford police that they had interviewed Ryan B. Sharpe, 28, of 319 W. Abbott St., for a similar incident and Sharpe admitted to exposing himself in Jim Thorpe.
The two juveniles were later able to identify Sharpe from a photo lineup as being the male who exposed himself to them.
He was charged with two counts of indecent exposure, misdemeanor twos, and one count of open lewdness, a misdemeanor three.
