Trinity Church plans Lenten services

Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., Lehighton, provides a midweek Lenten series asking "Good God Questions". The question to be examined Wednesday, March 21, at the noon & 7 p.m. services is "What about my unbelieving baptized child?" A soup lunch will follow the noon service; a soup and sandwich supper will precede the evening service at 6 p.m. All are invited to attend. Church phone for further questions: (610) 377-4303.

The public is also invited to attend a contemporary Tenebrae Service titled "The Shadow of the Cross", at 4 p.m., Sunday, March 25, at Trinity Lutheran Church. Tenebrae is the Latin word for "shadows" or "darkness". The sanctuary choir and guest musiciansfeaturing piano, cello, oboe, flute and French horn - will remember the last three days of Holy Week during this ceremony.
