Security vehicle stolen, then found

A security vehicle owned by A Pocono Country Place, in Tobyhanna Township, Monroe County, was stolen and later found crashed.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said they were called to Woodcliff Drive in the development about 8:48 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3, for a report of a theft. On scene officers learned that the security vehicle was stolen from in front of 1169 Woodcliff.

Police said the vehicle was left with the engine running and unlocked when a white male, believed to be in his 20s, got into it and drove off. The vehicle was later found in the woods near the intersection of Shadyside and Lee drives with minor damages.
