ANDREW LEIBENGUTH/TIMES NEWS Santa Claus will be talking to kids and handing out candy canes to everyone this evening at the Depot Square Park in Tamaqua. Richard Brown, Hometown, retired two years ago and has since chosen to spread holiday cheer to local hospitals, nursing homes, classrooms, senior organizations and other charitable organizations throughout Schuylkill county. In addition to yesterday's visit, Santa will be at the park from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today. Santa and his elf hope to make this an annual event.Santa Claus sits under the gazebo as he hands candy canes to Olivia Brown, 8, and Adam Green, 6, both of Tamaqua.
