Domalakes and he was remanded to the county prison to serve the balance of his sentence and his 475 days of lilberty were disallowed, which created a new maximum date for his release at Feb. 13, 2013.Waice pleaded guilty in June 2009 to charges of theft of property from the residence of Elizabeth Brown, Coaldale. After serving 30 days in prison he was placed on parole for 23 months. His parole was revoked in February 2010 and later he was again placed on parole.Claim damagesDonald and Diana Kunkel, 503 E. Elm St., Tamaqua, started a civil suit against Ankiewicz Enterprises Inc., 794 Claremont Avenue, Rush Township, a general and commercial contractor, alleging while he was engaged in work on the property at 505-505 1/2 E. He was committed by Judge Charles M. Miller to the Department of Corrections for an evaluation to be used by the court to determine whether he shall be sentenced to a state Intermediate Punishment Program (IPP). Sheriff Joseph Groody was directed to transport Wilcox to a state prison for the evaluation.Violates PFA orderEvan Howard Davis, 62, Schuylkill Haven, was found by Senior Judge D. Michael Stine to have violated a Protection From Abuse (PFA) order issued by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin last October 12 by writing his estranged wife, Patricia Mildred Davis, a three page letter. He was fined $300 and costs of prosecution.Dismiss chargesOn a motion made by District Attorney James P. Goodman to dismiss criminal charges against two defendants because the victims did not wish to proceed with prosecution, President Judge William E. Baldwin granted the motion and entered a nolle prosequi order to the following:Shawn Allen Hager, 43, of 329 S. 17th Street, Allentown, who was charged with making terroristic threats and harassment of Debra Weikel, Frackville.Pierre A. Domalakes held hearings on appeals from summary convictions by Magisterial District Judges.Corine Elyse Briel, 19, Ashland, was found not guilty of the charge of purchasing alcoholic beverages as a minor after she agreed to plead guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct. The fine was reduced from $400 to $100 plus costs.Lisa Ann Davis, 47, Pottsville, lost her appeal as the judge found her guilty of exceeding the maximum speed limit in Port Carbon and the fine and cost inposed by the district judge of $135.50 standsJonathan C. Powell, 61, Philadelphia, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless driving after Domalakes found him not guilty of the original charge of reckless driving and he was fined $25 plus $50 costs. Powell was cited by Pottsville police along SR61.Robert Smithline, 47, Scranton, pleaded guilty to a charge of failing to obey a traffic signal after the court dismissed the charge exceeding the maximum speed limit in Lavelle, Butler Township, and his fine was reduced from $100 to $25.Marian T. Jones, West Avenue, Branch Township, won her appeal from a charge of violating a township ordinance. She was charged with having junk cars on her property. The fine and cost of $180 was dismissed.
