Penn's Peak, Jim Thorpe, was filled with the sounds of raucous laughter on Saturday night when four comedians from "Will Work for Chocolate Comedy Tour" did their best to keep the capacity crowd laughing.

Gordon Baker-Bone served as host and lead comedian.Joe Fernandes joined Baker-Bone and made the crowd laugh about the trials of being a boyfriend to his girlfriend and trying to be a father figure to her kids.Pat Brown was third in line. Her jokes centered about being single, going to the gynocologist, and just why she doesn't want the complications of having kids.Mike Gaffney centered his jokes about being a single dad and the problems he has raising his son and daughter.Coordinating the event was Wayne Halliday. Dailey noted that the event raised $17,080, with $10,000 of the proceeds from the event will benefit Dream Come True, Blue Ridge Chapter and $7,080 will be split between local fire companies, Aquashicola Volunteer Fire Department, Franklin Township Fire Company, Lehigh Township Volunteer Fire Company, Albrightsville Fire Company and West End Fire Company, Brodheadsville.Along with the four comedians, there was a Chinese auction and the evening concluded with live music by Big Things Rocks. Big Things Rocks is the ultimate party band, playing anything from classic rock to top 40 hits.With this event, Tech-Net Profession Auto Service has raised $109,920 the past nine years from this one-night event to support the local community.Dream Come True provides dreams to area seriously, terminally or chronically ill children.
