You might remember her from morning shenanigans on Cat Country 96 a few years back. Or maybe you had heard her when she was the voice on The Hawk oldies station from the Lehigh Valley.

Kitty McVeigh, who left the area for a job in Cincinnati, is back and joined "The Doc" Layne Roberts as a co-host on Penn Peak's daily radio program, "The Bump and Grind."McVeigh, who resides in Bethlehem, is a 20-year veteran of radio.Although she wasn't supposed to begin her new job until Monday, she and The Doc are already up to their morning fun this week.Kitty and Doc have known each other for years. Both got their radio starts at local radio stations WLSH and WMGH.Kitty grew up in Bucks County and graduated from Northampton Area Community College.She said one of her plans on Penn's Peak Radio with Doc is "aggravate him.""The cool thing with Doc," she said, "is we can say something's going to happen. But you don't know what's going to happen after that."The Daily Bump and Grind is aired daily from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It can be heard on Blue Ridge Cable TV Channel 80 and viewed live on Blue Ridge Cable TV 113 digital television.
