Randall Douglas Perry, artistic director and conductor of the Bach and Handel Chorale, based in Jim Thorpe, announces four open rehearsals and auditions to those seeking membership.

Audition dates are June 27 and July 11 and 25 beginning promptly at 7:30 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, 319 South Ave., Jim Thorpe.The chorale is preparing for its fall concert season, which will include three Christmas concerts on Dec. 3, 10, and 11 at various locations; and a performance of Handel's "Messiah" on Dec. 17 at the Mauch Chunk Opera House, 14 W. Broadway in Jim Thorpe.Practices will convene through the summer at 7:30 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church on June 13 and 27, July 11 and 25 and Aug. 8 and 22 to prepare for the "Messiah" performance and are highly recommended.
