They were married July 9, 2010.Probation programDaniel Christopher Krynak, 55, Harrisburg, who pleaded guilty to driving under the influence (DUI) of drugs was placed in the Intermediate Punishment Program (IPP) to serve six months on probation with the first 15 days under house arrest, pay a fine of $1,000, pay $100 to Substance Abuse Education (SAE) fund, $50 to Catastrophe fund, a $50 monthly supervision while on probation, enroll in alcohol highway safe driving school, receive outpatient counseling, make restitution of $60 to Schuylkill Medical Center and driver's license suspended 12 months.On charges of careless driving and duty to give information and aid was fined $100 plus $100 in costs. Krynak was cited by Pottsville Patrolman Eugene M. Yourey, last June 10.Sentence affirmedThe Pennsylvania Superior Court upheld the sentence imposed by President Judge William E. Baldwin pertaining to Chad Edward Karlavage, 29, of Shenandoah.Karlavage had entered a guilty pleas in the county court to two charges of driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol and was sentenced by Baldwin to serve 15 to 60 months in a state correctional institution. He appealed the sentence to the Superior Court claiming the court abused its discretion by refusing his request to be placed in the Restrictive Intermediate Punishment Program, which is a probation sentence. The higher court ruled that the appeal "lacks merit and is wholly frivolous and the case does not present any violation of the sentencing code."Weekend in jailScott Edward Fekette, 40, Minersville, pleaded guilty to DUI and was sentenced by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin to spend 72 hours in the county prison beginning Monday, June 6, at 9 a.m. and when he completes the time to be released on parole for six months, pay a fine of $500, pay $100 to Substance Abuse Education fund, $50 to Catastrophe fund, $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account, a $50 monthly supervision fee, complete safety school, receive intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment and driver's license suspended 12 months. Fekette was cited by Trooper John Thomas Clark when stoped last Oct. 7 on SR895 in Wayne Township.Assault by prisonerGary S. Tucker, 45, an inmate at the state correctional institution in Ryan Township, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and harassment by prisoner of correctional officers.He was sentenced by Judge John E. Domalakes to serve three to six years and the sentence is to run concurrent with a sentence he is now serving imposed by the Montgomery County court. He also was ordered to make restitution of $1,579.04 to the state, $370 to Sgt. John Reno and $25 to Sgt. Sean Resendes.Register of WillsMichael M. McCord, Register of Wills/Clerk of the Orphans' Court, released his report of activities in his office for the month of May.There were 74 estates processed, 95 marriage licenses issued, and three adoptions completed.His office remitted $659,444.62 to the state for inheritance taxes collected and $17,381.75 to the county for fees collected.Mortgage defaultWells Fargo Bank, N.A. filed suit against Blaine and Laurie Seip to foreclose on their property at 539 Zions Stone Church Road, New Ringgold, for defaulting on mortgage payments and seek a judgment for $278,196.20.Credit card suitsDiscover Bank, New Albany, Ohio, filed suit against Mary A. Potance, last known address, 301 W. Spruce St., Tamaqua, alleging she owes a balance of $4,794.41 on her credit card. The bank also filed suit against Neal R. Edwards, 16 Schuylkill Rd., New Ringgold, alleging he owes a balance of $6,528.54 on his credit card.Citibank (South Dakota) N. A., Philadelphia, filed suit against Jeffrey V. Stahler, 3340 Summer Valley Rd., New Ringgold, alleging he owes a balance of $12,493.45 on his credit card.State Farm Bank, Bloomington, Ill., filed suit against Paul S. and Florence S. Fegley, 1198 E. Schmaltzdahl Rd., New Ringgold, alleging they owe a balance of $2,609.71 on their credit card.Lease defaultCab East LLC as Titling Agent and Holder for Ford Motor Credit Company, Mesa, Ariz., filed suit against Francis and Dolores Vitek, 83 Fairview St., Barnesville, alleging they entered into a lease to purchase a 2008 Ford Focus for $16,777.59 and have allegedly defaulted on payment and a balance of $4,010.72 is owed.
