"A higher amount of visitors took part in this year's Historic Lantern Tour last night in Tamaqua," said Dale Freudenberger, Tamaqua Historical Society president and tour guide. "They were really interested and seemed to enjoy the many things talked about on the lantern tour." This was one of the first events being held as part of the four-day Spirit of Christmas Festival. For a list of detailed events, look in Wednesday's TIMES NEWS or visit www.tamaqua.net. Pictured is Freudenberger providing holiday history to guests visiting downtown Tamaqua as part of the tour.
