Schuylkill incident being probed

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a recklessly endangering incident in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said about 6:50 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 11, Stanley Adams, of 373 Swopes Valley Road, in Pine Grove Township, was sitting on his front porch when a blackJeep Cherokee approached his home. As the Jeep got close to the residence it slowed down

At this point a front seat passenger, identified as a white male in his mid-20s, pointed what appeared to be a BB gun or air rifle out the window at the home and fired one shot.

The projectile struck the residence on the left front entryway putting a small crack in the siding.

The vehicle then fled the scene.

Adams was not injured in the incident, troopers noted. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 593-2000.
