A Tamaqua driver was the victim of a incident in which someone threw an unknown object at her vehicle while traveling along a Schuylkill County road. State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incident occurred about 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 3, along Sweet Arrow Lake Road., about a quarter-mile west of Shelthauer Road., in Wayne Township.

Troopers said Kelly McKlveen, 21, was westbound when someone in an approaching vehicle threw an object out the driver's side window. The object struck the rear driver's side window on McKlveen's vehicle shattering it. The other car continued toward Cressona.McKlveen was not injured. Damages to her car was estimated at $250.The other vehicle was described as being a green in color Subaru, possibly an Imprezza.
