Amanda Damiano recently concluded her sophomore softball season at the University of Maryland Baltimore County.

Damiano, a graduate of Marian High School, was hurt for most the season and is currently applying for a medical redshirt at the NCAA Division I school.After playing 39 games as a freshman, Damiano played just a handful of games this past season. An outfielder, she scored four runs and stole a pair of bases as UMBC finished with a 25-24 overall record and a 6-12 mark in the American East Conference.Damiano, a dean's list student, was also named to the America East Academic Honor Roll.
