Program for Catholics

The three area Catholic churches will participate in "Encountering the Merciful Savior," an effort to increase the number of Catholics who receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The league was formerly two groups, one from Summit Hill and the other from Nesquehoning.The league will hold another registration session on Saturday, Feb. 27, from 10 a.m. to noon at both the Summit Hill and Nesquehoning borough buildings. A registration will be asked and first-time participants must have their parent(s) present their birth certificates and insurance documentation.The league will meet on Sunday, March 7, at 7 p.m. at the Summit Hill Borough Building.
