Indians score overtime win
Lehighton scored a girls soccer win in overtime in Friday's scholastic sports action.
Jordyn Homyak scored the second of her two goals in overtime to lift the Indians over the Bulldogs 4-3 in a non-league contest.
Rachel Ingram and K. Andrew scored the other Lehighton goal.
Brianna Riddick, Carly Cavaka and Brooke Wagner scored the three Northern Lehigh goals with Wgner also getting two assists.
Emily Mulcahy had 25 saves in goal for the Bulldogs, while Jourdan Semmel had 27 saves for the Indians.
Northern Lehigh held a 30-29 edge in shots on goal.
The Blue Devils scored five in the fourth and came up with three more in the seventh to hand the Wreckers a 12-3 setback.
Leo Kayes struckout nine and scattered six hits in picking up the win. Kevin Hinkle suffered the loss.
Shenandoah used the long ball as Blaise Breslosky was three-for-four with a solo home run in the third, two doubles and three RBIs. Mike Johns was four-for-four with a two-run homer in the first and Josh O'Connell was two-for-three with a solo homer in the fifth.
Christian Ormiston was two-for-three with a run scored for the Wreckers (0-15, 0-12).

Alex Storm turned in a strong pitching performance and Lehighton's bats exploded in a 22-4 four-inning victory over East Stroudsburg North.
