The students filled a tightly-packed gallon-size jar with cigarette butts gathered from the streets of downtown Jim Thorpe in just one hour. TATU members who participated are, from left, Jacqui Verhauz, Victoria Schrader, Taylor Smella, Brooke Tworkosky, Bridgette McFadden, Mike Kalage, Amber Cutler and Molly McFadden, with adviser Rebekah McFadden, who is also a school nurse in the Weatherly Area School District.
