Naturalist Robin Tracey invites area residents to join him for a hike on the Oak Loop Trail at Locust Lake on Saturday, July 10.

The trail is four miles in length and features difficult terrain. The trail loops around Locust Creek and traverses up the mountain for a great view of the forest below. Part of the hike includes the "Tree Identification Trail created by a local Eagle Scout.Dogs are welcome, but must be leashed and able to get along with other pets and people.All hikers must meet at the visitor parking lot at 1:00 p.m. the day of the trip.
