The Sixth Annual Blue Bomber Football Invitational Weightlifting Competition will be held on Sunday, April 25 beginning at 9 a.m. in the Palmerton High School Gymnasium.

Participants must be entering the grades 9 through 12 next year in a Carbon or Schuylkill county school district.For any athlete considering participating, the deadline to register for the competition is April 22nd. There will be two age groups (14-15 and 16-18) and nine weight classes in each age group. Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded for each age and weight class. In addition, trophies will be awarded to the Best Overall Lifter in each age group and there will also be a trophy for Best Overall Team performance in each age division.
