Nesquehoning arrests reported

Nesquehoning police reported on the following arrests made by officers.

Officer Timothy Wuttke responded to an incident on Sunday, Oct. 25, at 10:56 p.m. to the home of Terrance Snyder, 351 W. Mill St. Police said Joshua Beury, no address given, entered the home and began to assault Snyder. Beury was arrested on charges of felony burglary, criminal trespass and harassment. He was arraigned before District Judge Casimir Kosciolek on the counts. Beury was unable to post the $3,000 straight bail imposed and was committed to the county prison.Chief Sean Smith reported the arrest of Susan Karley, of 475 Lower Main Rd., Parryville, on Tuesday, Oct. 27, after he executed a felony warrant on her issued by the Carbon County Adult Probation office. Karley was charged for felony contraband for an incident at the county prison on March 20. Police allege Karley attempted to bring prescribed narcotics into the jail.She was arraigned before Kosciolek and released on $1,000 unsecured bail.Smith also issued a summary citation for retail theft to Dianne McArdle, of 219 W. Water St., Lansford. Police allege that McArdle and a Peggy Hill conspired to go into Redners Warehouse Market to taken merchandise. Police allege that the two acted as lookouts for each other. McArdle was caught with $37.32 in stolen merchandise, police said. Hill had $88.83 worth of items, police added. Charges are pending against Hill, Smith said.
