Lehighton American Legion Auxiliary installs new officers

Members of the Lehighton American Legion Auxiliary Unit 314 installed officers and chairman at a recent meeting at the Lehighton American Legion.

Officers installed include: LaRue Fritz, second vice president, poppy and Girl's State chairman; Gladys Balliet, president and veterans affairs and rehabilitation; and Sandi Shook, first vice president, community service and audit/finance.Also installed were: Debbie DeCindio, secretary and children and youth; Sue Anthony, sergeant at arms, Americanism and junior member chairman; and Phyliss Klein, treasurer and budget.And, Gerry Klein, chaplain and veterans and rehabilitation; Dorothy Ebbert, historian, education, audit/finance and budget; and Cheryl Laub, junior sergeant at arms, parliamentarian, constitution and by laws, audit/fiance and budget; Jean Rice, public relations; and Millie German, sunshine.Cathy Olker served as the installing officer.
