Author Jeanne Lefevre of Slatington will host a series of open houses to launch her newest book, "The Gift At The Springhouse," on June 12, June 19 and June 26, from 1-3 p.m. at the Victorian Farmhouse, 7650 Molasses Barrel Rd. in Slatington.

Those planning to attend are asked to call (484) 553-0631 so that refreshments can be ordered accordingly.Reenactment of the prologue for "The Gift At The Springhouse," will take place in the front yard of the farmhouse at 2 p.m. each day, weather permitting.The performance will last 10 minutes.There will also be a slide show of pictures from the book, farmhouse and gardens, as well as a display of the gifts found at the Springhouse.Visitors are encouraged to wear soft sole shoes or sneakers and enjoy a walk around the house, gardens or on the wooded path.
