The sanctions, by various licensing boards, were imposed in November. The Real Estate Commission levied a $500 penalty on real estate agent Rachel Denver of Albrightsville based on her pleading guilty to a misdemeanor and failing to notify the Commission.Denver was charged by Kidder Township police for driving without a valid inspection sticker on Aug. 27, 2014.In Monroe County, notary public Vanesa S. Rojas of Stroudsburg was suspended for six months, but that was immediately stayed in favor of probation. She was also fined $300, a probation assessment of $300 and must successfully complete a notary practice and procedure course during her probation period because she failed to be of good character, integrity, and ability; failed to be familiar with the duties and responsibilities of a notary public; and failed to maintain an accurate notary journal. The state Board of Nursing fined Jeanette M. Drake of Brodheadsville $100, suspended her indefinitely, based on disciplinary action taken by another state and her failure to report same to the board. Also, the state Board of Cosmetology denied a license to Phuong Tu of Allentown due to lacking good moral character. The state Board of Medicine disciplined Vamsimadhav Korrapati of Bethlehem, who was indefinitely suspended but immediately stayed in favor of probation for three years and subject to monitoring by the Professional Health Monitoring Programs. The Department of State contends Korrapati is unable to practice with reasonable skill and safety to patients by reason of mental or physical illness or condition or physiological or psychological dependence upon alcohol, hallucinogenic or narcotic drugs, or other drugs which tend to impair judgment or coordination.
