Summit Hill woman facing numerous charges

A Summit Hill woman faces two counts of driving under the influence, as well as numerous other citations after two incidents in the borough.

Summit Hill police said that the first incident took place at approximately 11:08 p.m. on Aug. 27. Police were monitoring traffic when they pulled over a vehicle, driven by Nadine Leibensperger, 27, of West Hazard Street, after she failed to stop at a posted stop sign.During the traffic stop, the officer found Leibensperger to be under the influence of alcohol.She was charged, in addition to the DUIs, for not stopping at the stop sign, careless driving, failing to use a turn signal and driving without a license.In the second incident, which occurred on Nov. 2, police were called to the school house apartments on West Hazard Street for a disturbance.They found Leibensperger causing a scene.She was charged with disorderly conduct.
